Magruder Hospital’s Respiratory Therapy Department provides patients of all ages with the ability to improve respiratory function and their quality of life.
Our therapists are on site 24 hours a day and they are all credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care and licensed by the State of Ohio, to ensure only the best care is given to our patients.
Magruder’s Respiratory services include specific testing techniques, including measurement of ventilatory volumes, pressure, flows, blood gas analysis and other related physiologic monitoring, are employed to assist in diagnosis, monitoring, treatment and research.
Pulmonary Rehabilitation is also offered for patients under the guidance of our Respiratory Therapists. Magruder’s Pulmonary Rehabilitation program is an outpatient program that includes, individual treatment plans, exercise sessions, teaching sessions, breathing and relaxation techniques and support groups for patients to talk with other people living with chronic lung disease.
