Mindful Meditation Mondays in March at Magruder

 

Alison Lanza Falls, Certified High Performance Coach and Certified Masters of Wisdom & Meditation Teacher, will offer free one-hour mindful meditation discussions in the Magruder Conference Center each Monday in March at 5:00 pm. 

The sessions will cover the proven science behind the wellness benefits of meditation. There will be time for questions and open discussions, and each session will conclude with a guided meditation on gratitude, energy, clarity, and leadership.

  • On Monday, March 3, the session will cover the myths of meditation and the science behind meditation.
  • In the following weeks participants will discover different styles of meditation and breathing techniques, including Body-Mind, Visualization, Energy Cleansing & Balancing Meditations.
  • The final session will include a teaching of the Kirtan Kriya Meditation, recommended by the Alzheimer’s Research Foundation for improved brain functioning.

These talks are open to both beginners and experienced meditators. Come to learn and experience the uplifting, stress-busting energy and community of group meditation. 

Please wear comfortable clothes and bring an extra layer in case it gets chilly in the room.  Chairs will be provided, and you are welcome to bring a Yoga mat or comfortable meditation pillow.
