How Magruder is Handling Coronavirus

March 26, 2020

Magruder would like to update our community that current recommendations have not changed at this time.

  • If you are sick, but normally would NOT see your provider, please stay home and self monitor.

  • If your symptoms get worse (fever, chills, difficulty breathing) call Magruder’s triage line 419-301-4304 for further instruction.

  • If you have a question regarding keeping your current appointment with your provider, please call the provider office ahead of time.

The CDC continues to recommend you follow these guidelines:

Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.

If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry.

Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

March 18, 2020

For the health of our patients, visitors, health care providers and community, Magruder will be prohibiting visitors at our hospital, starting March 19th. Exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis.

We recognize this can be disappointing to our visitors, patients and community, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Your health, the health of our patients and our healthcare providers is top priority.

Reminder:

  • If you are sick, but normally would NOT see your doctor, please stay home and self monitor.

  • If your symptoms get worse (fever, chills, difficulty breathing) call Magruder’s triage line 419-301-4304 for further instruction.
