healthEview offers personalized and secure online access to portions of your Magruder Hospital medical records. It is an online tool that enables you to help manage and receive information about your health.

You can:

  • View scheduled appointments.
  • View a health summary for your inpatient or emergency room visit from the health view electronic medical record.
  • View some Laboratory test results.

Is there a fee to use health view?

This is a free service offered to our patients. What do I need to use health view? You need access to a computer connected to the Internet and an up-todate browser (such as Internet Explorer).

How do I sign up?

Patients who wish to participate will first provide Magruder Hospital with their email address. This can be done at Registration, HIM, Lab, or the office of Dr. Cadigan and Lori Jesberger. Patients will then be issued a health view activation code via email. This code will be used to begin the authentication process once the health view invite is received via the provided email.

Who do I contact if I have further questions?

If you have any questions about Magruder Hospital’s health view, please call the Health Information Management Department at Magruder Hospital at 419-734-3131 ext.3564. For support after the email invite has been received please call the health view support line at 1-877-621-8014. Support is available 24/7.

When can I see my test results in health view?

Your test results are released to your health view account within 36 hours of completion of the test.

Why are certain test results not shared electronically via health view?

Your provider determines which types of test results are able to be accessed through health view. Tests of a very sensitive nature are not released to health view. Magruder Hospital records available initially include many common lab tests. The patient portal will show chemistry, hematology, coagulation, few micro tests (Influenza A&B, RSV, strep for example), blood bank, blood gases, and sperm analysis results. The patient portal will not include most micro results, anatomic pathology, reference laboratory results or radiology results at this time.

If some of my health information on health view is not correct, what should I do?

Your health view information comes directly from your electronic medical record at the hospital. Please call our Health Information Management Department to correct any information at 419-734-3131 Ext 3564.

Many such regulations prohibit sharing sensitive information about minors over the age of 13 with their parents or legal guardians. As such, the Provider may restrict your access to the other person’s sensitive information and not make it available to you through health view.
