Magruder Virtual Care refers to the “virtual visits” that take place between patients and clinicians through a secure communications technology platform. This digital technology allows virtual visits to occur in real-time, from separate locations, and only requires an internet connection.

The initial intake questions for a virtual care visit take approximately 5 minutes. Diagnosis and treatment plan is typically within an hour.

A Magruder Virtual Care provider will then connect with you via a secure video call to discuss diagnosis and treatment. After you answer the initial intake questions, an experienced emergency medicine Magruder Virtual Care provider (physician (MD/DO), nurse practitioner (NP), or physician assistant (PA)) will review your symptoms, make a diagnosis, and develop your treatment plan.
