General Surgery

Dr. Ray Fuller provides General Surgery services at Magruder Hospital. He is available to see patients in his Port Clinton office, and offers a broad spectrum of surgeries at Magruder.

General Surgery procedures include, but are not limited to:

• Appendectomy to remove an infected appendix
• Breast Care including exams, biopsies, lumpectomies and mastectomies
• Colectomy to remove all or part of the colon to treat colon disease such as cancer, inflammatory disease and diverticulitis
• Colonoscopy to detect changes or abnormalities in the large intestine and rectum
• Endoscopy uses a flexible tube to view the esophagus, stomach and upper part of the small intestine
• Cholecystectomy to remove the gall bladder
• Hernia repair where the tissue is repositioned and the weak area is stitched or patched up
