Magruder Auxiliary

Mission Statement:

The Magruder Hospital Auxiliary will provide leadership and service to our community, our members, and our hospital.

We will promote opportunities for our members to encourage self growth, fulfillment and commitment.

We will continue to support Magruder Hospital in its mission of Improving Lives Together.

Leadership:

The Auxiliary offers board and committee chair positions to individuals willing to make a 1 or 2 year commitment to the board.

Education:

The Auxiliary is committed to providing opportunity through scholarships to local students to further their interest in healthcare professions.

Service:

The Auxiliary is dedicated to recognizing the contributions of our hard working staff and volunteers. We show our appreciation by hosting an annual Staff Appreciation Day and Volunteer Appreciation Day. The Auxiliary also assists in decorating the hospital's lobbies and waiting areas for the Christmas holiday season.

Volunteering:

Opportunities are available throughout the hospital to use your skills to support Magruder Hospital, its staff and patients. Committee assignments range from volunteering for a morning to assisting with a fundraising event or service project, to committing to working on a year long project. Meet new people and have fun while helping your community!

Fundraising:

Use your talents and work with friends to raise funds to sponsor projects that enhance the quality of care at Magruder Hospital. In addition to our Auxiliary Gift Shop the Auxiliary also hosts book fairs, uniform sales and other fundraisers throughout the year.
