At Magruder, our passion is caring for people, and not just when they are sick. By being an active partner in our community, we are able to give back through education, prevention, support, and sponsorships. We are a nonprofit hospital owned solely by the community we are committed to serve.
In 2014, Magruder put another building block in place to support our community, The Magruder Hospital Foundation. This foundation is a nonprofit foundation supporting the mission of Magruder Hospital in Improving Lives Together.
Independent community hospitals are vital to the health and well-being of the communities they serve. Magruder has been a solid member of the community since 1940. As healthcare has evolved, small, independent community hospitals have faced a daunting future. As a result of the ever-changing funding programs and regulations, many small hospitals have merged with larger healthcare systems.
Even though Magruder faces these same challenges, we are committed to being an independent hospital with the freedom to make the best healthcare decisions for our community. With the help of donors like you, the foundation can provide necessary assistance to Magruder through equipment purchases, service line expansion and upgraded technology.

Commemorative Tree & Landscape Program
This program allows groups and individuals to donate trees and landscaped areas to honor friends or loved ones as well as commemorate special events. Trees and landscaped areas purchased through the program will be placed along the Magruder Hospital campus walking trail. Your gift will be a wonderful remembrance or commemoration of a special occasion that adds beauty to the natural environment.
